– When Hunter was six months old we knew he was the best Shiba Inu in North America. Hunter excels in type, color, conformation, urajiro and showmanship. He has the most correct head we have seen in America, including eyes (shape, set and color) as well as ear set and shape. He also has outstanding movement, exhibiting the epitome’ of balance that the AKC standard demands.

– Shown by Diane, he won his first major and group placement at his very first show. After that it was all smooth sailing. He ranked #1 Shiba in the country for the following five years – 2004 until his retirement the beginning of 2009. To date he is the top winning Shiba Inu in the U.S. in history. Many have reached for this record, but only Hunter has achieved it.
